Comments: The scene that greets you will leave you stunned. It is a wonderfully illustrated scene of devastation and betrayal.
From the start we see something is going on with Tommy the Green Ranger. He is not acting right.
The morphin into Power Rangers is ant-climatic but right afterwards they are all in a dynamic pose that says we are ready to rumble. They are drawn amazing and the colors pop out. They immediately form Megazoid to face Bullzer a huge monster of the evil Queen. Rita is a devious one.
Scorpina is beautifully illustrated, she is drawn with one nice looking form.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Written by Steve Orlando, illustrated by Corin Howell, colors by Jeremy Lawson and letters by Jim Campbell.
Bulk and Skull are shown as two clowns. They are different individuals that march to the beat of their own drum. Now the brains of the two and that is certainly stretching it saying he has brains or that he uses them but Bulk does come up with a plan to get in good with the ladies. What could go wrong?
"What Time Is It?!" Written by Mairghread Scott, illustrated by Daniel Bayliss and letters by Ed Dukeshire.
The Power Rangers are drawn in full out action poses as the Putties attack. The Megazord and Dragonzord battle Goldar it looks as if evil is out numbered today. Nice setup for the battle to come.
This is a great set up to lead into issue one.

Comments: Bulk and Skull while shooting a video for the internet fill us in on what has being going on. The talk is mostly about the new Power Ranger the Green Ranger. Is he now with the team and can he be trusted.
As Tommy the Green Ranger practices the art showing him off is amazing. Tommy is pushing himself to hard to prove he is the perfect Power Ranger. He will never be perfect and needs to accept that. His attitude though will not let him.
This issue focuses on Tommy and it would be nice to see more of the other Rangers or all of them in action.
Tommy gets a visit from one beautiful sexy woman. One holding a sword.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" These two idiots want some glory. So they race head long into the battle zone. They actually do prove slightly useful. They are the comedic relief of this comic.

Comments: The Green Ranger takes on Scorpina these two really get into a fight. The poses used in the fight could have been better for showing them off.
We get a look at the Rangers on a more private level. They are just teenagers and have normal problems and lives just like all the other teenagers.
This issue does focus on Tommy. Maybe because Rita created him and is still trying to control him. We will see if Tommy is strong enough to fight her off.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Will Bulk and Skull be able to be the heroes they want to be and win the girls over. They are losers so probably not but they are good hearted ones.
This issue brings across the concept that the Power Rangers work best as a team and always will.

Comments: Tommy the Green Ranger is being subtilly attacked by Rita. It is in such a way he does not even know it. He does know something is wrong though and so do his fellow Rangers.
The whole issue focuses on Tommy, this is a team comic book so should it not also focus on the team.
Rita has a lackey ready to attack and she has infiltrated the Rangers taking control of one of their most powerful weapons.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" This story is really short this issue only two pages. Bulk and Skull come to the rescue of Trini and Kimberly or will it be the other way around.
Bulk and Skull's costumes are weird looking. The Putty is looking and acting cool as it attacks.
This issue needed more action and more interaction of the team members as a team.

Comments: The Power Rangers are battling Rita and her monsters. She wants the Green Ranger and she has his Dragonzord.
Tommy the Green Ranger has been having problems but he will not sit on the side lines when he can help save innocent lives.
Tommy is still having trouble telling his hallucinations apart from reality.
The story is confusing making it hard to follow what is going on and why. The art does not for the most part show off the Rangers in good poses. The Green Ranger as he attacks the Dragzord is drawn in some nice action poses for that scene.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Trini and Kimberly use a bit of deception to take care of a Putty. Bulk and Skull though claim the rights to the take down. They are two heroes well not really but their hearts are in the right place. They want to take down the bad guys. They are laughable characters and lovable.

Comments: Italy says they are not afraid of Rita Repulsa and her monsters. So its one huge monster on the attack in Italy. This guy is big and armed.
Rita grabs Zack she wants to convince him to come to her side. Zack though is a Power Ranger and shows his loyalty. Plus we see he is appreciated by the other Rangers. They know its a team effort. It is wonderful to see Zach being offered power and see him doig what he knows is right. His inner goodness shines through. He is never even tempted at all. We do see though he wants to do more with his life.
Rita hears a strange voice and it is a mystery who is behind it. There is no clue as to who it is.
Rita looks amazingly she does not appear really evil but you know she is.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Bulk and Skull get sentenced to spend time with Lieutenant Stone. They are not happy about it. Which is funny to see.

Comments: The Black Dragon offers the six Power Rangers a chance to surrender. The battle is on and it is one hard fought one as both sides go all out. The Black Dragon is powerful, to powerful. The Rangers must retreat which rarely ever happens.
Empress Rita and this Black Dragon warrior together make for a force to be feared. The Rangers have never been pushed so hard as the Black Dragon does. This might actually be the beginning of the end for the Power Rangers.
The Black Dragon may be the best new character as a villain for the Rangers to come along. He grabs your interest and holds it.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Bulk and Skull well mainly Bulk comes up with a plan. How will Officer Jerome Stone act when he finds out about it? Will the boys escape their manual labors? It is fun to watch how the boys act and to see just how dumb they can be.

Comments: Both Goldar and the Blue Ranger are being held prisoner by Rita. The art is pasty and could use more fleshed out detail.
The Green Ranger is drawn in a heroic pose. The face though lacks detail.
Rita is in her glory as she is getting all she wants. The Rangers are on the ropes and need a miracle.
The Black Dragon takes on the Green Ranger. They both have zoids. One though does much better in battle.
This story needs to flow much better, it is hard to follow everything that is going on and it is not fully explained.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Bulk and Skull are still doing their community work. Now Bulk has found a cause that he can really sink his teeth into. Bulk and Skull are fun characters that offer some comedic relief.

Comments: The Black Dragon has Tommy on the run. With Json's help he survives. Who is this Black Dragon and why is he helping Rita.
Tommy the Green Ranger we get to see a lot of him this issue. He is proving to be a valuable Power Ranger. He decides to share his power with the other Rangers and the results are surprising.
Tommy and the Black Dragon do see a little bit of battle between them. It is very little and not with any great poses.
The overall entire story there is not much to it. Plus no Power Rangers poses of them ready for battle.
The last page delivers a slight surprise. That is about it though.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Bulk and Skull foil a robbery. These two guys are fun to watch. They are a little weird but basicly good guys.

Comments: Empress Rita Repulsa is illustrated with a evil controlling look.
Tommy and the others attack the Black Dragon. Billy comes up with a plan of attack and Tommy helps him carry it out.
The Black Dragon is not quite what you might have expected. Than it gets even weirder. It also gets very ominous.
Things do not go as planned. Tommy and Billy end up in one strange and very dangerous place. This is one unexpected turn of events.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" The art is simple and basic. Rita has a plan and it is certainly different. This short story being done in parts is too short and does not really have time to get into it.

Comments: The Power Rangers are shown battling a monster. They work as a team and as they fight the narrator talks about what makes a hero. We see what makes a hero in the Power Ranger's actions.
Poor Billy he is not feeling so much the hero. He does want to be and he trains so hard. He just has doubts as would anyone. You can not help feeling for poor Billy. You will be routing for him. He is like you or me just a person who thinks he is in over his head but really everyone else around him thinks he is doing just great. He just wants to be a little more than he is.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Rita gives Bulk and Skull a monster and a vehicle to control it. This will surely lead to disaster. The art is done in a way to make everything look cute and non threatening. Even the giant monster in the background does not appear threatening even though we all know it is.
The Power Rangers this issue show us that no matter how much power they have they are still only human.

Comments: We see a bleak future or alternate time line here were Rita and a Ranger Lord Drakkon rule the world. Billy and Tommy find themselves here.
The Rangers are trying to figure things out. Without a recap of previous issues this issue is extremely hard to follow.
This future/alternate world is one you would not enjoy visiting. Things are not going as the Rangers would like. This is definitely not their finest hour.
The ending here is a cliffhanger of sorts. It will leave you waiting for the next issue.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Bulk and Skull have a monster the Double-Disastron to use. I bet you never thought you would see a skateboarding monster or doing the Limbo. This is a weird story and with the Power Rangers showing up things are going to heat up, next issue.

Comments: The art especially on the faces needs to be more focused. The floating talking dagger does add a nice touch of something totally different.
Billy and Tommy are trapped on Lord Drakkon's Earth. On this Earth the Green Ranger, Tommy followed a different path he became Lord Drakkon.
Well there is not much excitement or action in this issue. A short explanation is given as to how this evil version of Tommy came to be.
"The Ongoing Adventures of Bulk & Skull" Bulk and Skull get to be heroes in this story as they defeat a monster all by themselves. The battle is not your usual fair but it is fun and entertaining. Bulk and Skull are really not all that bad. They show us that normal ordinary people can be heroes to.

Comments: Goldar is getting a new army to fight the Rangers with the army in his image.
We see the Rangers on a strange twisted version of our Earth. Here the Green Ranger aka Black Dragon along with Rita has conquered the world. He rules with an iron fist.
This world is a dark and dreary place.
The Rangers seem to be spending a lot of time standing around talking. As Trini and Billy talk one from each world they talk of the other Billy. It is an emotional moment.
Things are starting to move faster as something big is about to happen.
This issue needed more action.
"The Ongoing Misdventures of Squatt & Baboo" Baboo invents something to get rid of the Power Rangers and Squatt well he does what Squatt does. Baboo is the smarter one.
You kind of feel sorry for these two minions of Rita's. They do put up with being abused by her.
The art has some nice colors. The characters are drawn with a look of fun to them which is kind of opposite to how they are treated.
These two characters are ones you might even route for if they were not bad guys.

Comments: The Rangers run right into Goldar and his small army of Goldars.
This issue is full of action as both sides launch an all out assault. They each are pulling out everything they have. The Goldars certainly look menacing.
The battle comes down to Drakkon about to claim victory over Tommy. Billy though does the unexpected what you never thought you would see a Ranger do.
"The Ongoing Misdventures of Squatt & Baboo" The writer mixes up which one is which as both are referred to by both their names.
They find themselves on an alternate reality Earth. This Earth has no Power Rangers but it does have monsters and Goldar. These two may be in trouble Well at least they look funny and are funny to watch in action if they ever see any.

Comments: Zordon does believe in his Power Rangers no matter which dimension he is from. Tis issue does focus on Zordon. He may not be a Ranger but he is still a hero. Zordon is dead, long may he live.
Zordon is focused on Tommy both the evil and good versions. He believes in Tommy.
There needed to be more to this story though. There is no action. No drama. Only a little build up and setting up for next issue.
"The Ongoing Misdventures of Squatt & Baboo" Squatt and Baboo are finding this new world this version of Earth difficult to survive in. They face Goldar and many other monstrous creatures. Here in this world unlike in the regular world they stand tall and ready to fight. It is always great to see an underdog standing up. The art is done in a fun manner but yet it still has some of the characters our stars showing bravery.
Zordon is a hero who does act for the betterment of all. You can and will admire him. His energy form is drawn with a look of someone in control.

Comments: The Rangers are battling Rita's forces. It though comes down to Tommy facing Lord Drakkon. Yes they are the same person just from different dimensions.
The Rangers are drawn in great poses as they are ready to enter the fray.
The ending does leave you wondering what is next for Lord Drakkon? The whole issue though does leave you wishing there had been more action and fighting.
"The Ongoing Misdventures of Squatt & Baboo" Here our two dimensional hoppers find the best way to face all the monsters in the alternate dimension they are in. They hop again.
The art is cute and cartoonish. The monsters are not very frightening looking.
Squatt & Baboo are cute and fun characters.

Comments: Nine different covers are to many. Most comics have one or maybe two covers but all they really need is one.
The Rangers do not have Rita or her monsters to battle but they still keep busy, very busy. It is nice to see them helping out in other ways. A nice change of pace.
We get a look at the Rangers during some down time. They do seem like ordinary teenagers until something to do with the Rangers pops up.
Grace Sterling how will she affect the Rangers? She is written as a helping person and only wants to improve things for the human race but how?
Seeing the Rangers not fighting giant monsters has you seeing them more as people than as heroes.
"The Ongoing Misadventures of Squatt & Baboo" On this alternate Earth Squatt & Baboo are Zord-ified. They just want to be heroes. Their hearts are in the right place. Do they have the hearts of heroes well we will see. They are likable characters.

Comments: The Power Rangers go to Romania where Finster has set up shop.
The Power Rangers find Finster and what he has created. So its time for the Power Blaster. This thing is amazing as it comes together and fires. Finster has created some interesting play things for the Rangers. He does manage to cause lots of trouble all on his own.
The Power Rangers are offered a partnership to work with Grace how has tons of resources that would come in handy. But no they are independent. Or are they?
Finster is one sneaky creature. It is good to see him featured as the main villain of this issue.
"The Ongoing Misadventures of Squatt & Baboo" Here Squatt and Baboo are Zords. They think they are heroes now but what they do is villainous. Their hearts are in the right place just they are villains that is what they are. The story does have a nice touch of humor.

Comments: The art is for the most part bland and lifeless. The close ups are the only exception.
The Power Rangers face two monsters Crowverlord and Goth Sloth. They have a short battle. There really did need to be more action. Overall there is not much to the story. Billy and Trini going jogging together was the hi-light of it. Trini in her skin tight yoga pants did look good.
The Power Rangers suited up are looking very heroic and inspiring. Now we just need them in action.
"The Ongoing Misadventures of Squatt & Baboo" Squatt and Baboo meet Rockin' Riff Megazord. They may be Zords but they face a Megazord. This story is over way to fast and there is no action. The art is good but again we see very little of it.

Comments: On the moon we see something very frightening. The art definitely catches your eye.
This story is weird. It starts out with Zordan recruiting a different team of Power Rangers to fight Psycho Green and evil version of the Green Power Ranger. He works for Dark Specter. Psycho Green plans to unleash the most evil entity Earth has ever seen. So the tension is high and the Rangers are new.
This team of Power Rangers are much different than the regular ones. They appear to be in the past though not much is explained. These Rangers fight valiantly against a evil foe.
This story great for showing us some other people as Power Rangers and maybe just maybe it will carry over eventually into the regular Rangers adventures.
"The Ongoing Misadventures of Squatt & Baboo" These two morons get themselves into the most pitiful adventures as they travel around from one dimension to the next. They are such bunglers that it becomes fun to watch them not succeed so much so you end up liking them.

Comments: Grace is a woman with a mission. She wants to make the world a better place and she wants to work with the Power Rangers to do that. Grace has the resources and her own private city even of scientists.
The Finster cat monster is drawn to startle and horrify you. The Power Rangers jump into action to battle this feline fury. Grace though has her own Mechazoid so she can send it into battle. So it was huge giant robot vs little kitty cat monster. You can guess which one won.
The colors are done way to dark. To much black used in the art. The Power Rangers should be bright shining heroes full of hope not hiding in the dark.
So will the Rangers work with Grace to save the world? Can Grace be trusted? It seems to good to be true.
"The Ongoing Misadventures of Squatt & Baboo" Squatt & Baboo are rulers of Earth in this dimension or at least they think so. Everything seems perfect for them. Nothing is absolutely perfect though. The alien soldiers give you a hint at something being up.
