Comments: Its 1930 and a masked vigilante called the Thunderstorm is on the prowl. He is faster, stronger and tougher than an ordinary person. He has a simple costume, well designed and drawn here.
There are some nice action scenes. He does like to throw objects. The writing is easy to follow along to. The story is simple and straightforward.
Thunderstorm is an old style or classic type hero. One fan in the comic story states: "If you ever outgrow the wonder and excitement to appreciate heroes! It's all over!" and that is so true. You are never to old to enjoy a good comic. This comic is for any age.
Thunderstorm is a great character well illustrated and well written.
The narrator though sells the story. He presents it and inspires it through us the readers seeing how it affects him. This time of heroes has left a great impact on him.

Title: A Time Of Heroes # 2

Comments: The Ram's Head is the villian. We see right away he is a deadly new villian. His look does suggest magic and power. His face is drawn with an intensity of emotion.
Thunderstorm is well illustrated in battle. He is drawn moving fluidly as he faces petty criminals.
The young woman who somehow is tied to the Ram's Head has somehow become endowed with powers. It would be better if we knew more about her, like her real name. We do find out her superhero name of Aphrodite after the Goddess. She looks lovely in her ancient Greek dress.
The narrator is impressive. His love of superheroes comes through to the reader. His character is well written and his personality.
It is wonderful to watch from the start as each new addition is made to this Universe. To be on the ground floor as superheroes and villians are born.
The style of the comic is old fashioned or classic, the story simple and basic. It is easy to follow. Good story, good art make for a great comic.

Title: Horsegod: The Beginning # 1
Publisher: Self Published
Writer: Eric Douthitt & Ben Kauffman
Artist: eric Douthitt
Price: $ 2.99 US
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Comments: The first illustration we see of Horsegod is like a pin-up page. It is a magnificant drawing. The look says Horsegod is a regal creature. His musculature is beautifully shown.
A mysterious villian adds a touch of mystery to the story.
A woman wraps a towel around her just to take it off? Or the panels are mixed up out of sequence its hard to tell.
Spelling and grammar should both be checked more closely.
The scenes of Horsegod in action are poetry in motion. They bring across that he is a hero. One that suffers though. A lot is left unexplained. Why does he suffer? Who is that woman he slept with?
Stickman, Necromancer and Horsegod all are wonderfully original characters. Stickman at first sight you can just feel the evil oozing off him. Necromancer has a powerful sexy appeal. Horsegod though really stands out. He is not just powerful he is power. It is wonderful to see something with some originality.
