Rich: How do you like penciling on "Hell's Blood"?

Hector: I've always liked creating all sorts of unimaginable things and to do it with my own book just puts me in heaven, ughhh, or maybe hell. Hey but I still love it.

Rich: Who is Angela and how do your drawings portray her?

Hector: Angela is a powerful Santera, she held the 1st which is the fire opal she passed on to her grandson.

Rich: Who is Hector and why are demons after him?

Hector: Hector is the new holder of the 1st, he's "The Balance" when he transforms into Meltdown. In most cases The Balance has maintain there human appearance but in Hector's case his lack of faith
transforms him into a demon like form.

Rich: Do you enjoy drawing monsters?

Hector: More than anything in any medium. I grew up with old monster movies from Dracula to King Kong, my teen years just got better with Terminator, Aliens and Predator.

Rich: Besides demons what other monsters will be in "Hell's Blood"?

Hector: I have plans for Werewolves (My all time favorite monster), vampires and many others.

Rich: What can you tell us about the rest of the creative team on "Hell's Blood"?

Hector: They are all very talented in their own right. Chris moves at the speed of light, he's always 5 issues ahead of all of us. Keith has great talent in everything, he's my "Jack of all trades." Sue is our guru, I know she didn't do any physical art work but she does all the leg work. Liam, his writing is on point. I love how he really dives into a character and makes that character believable and real. Byrne, well just look at his work. His layouts blow me out the water every time and Alex's inks just add more pop to Byrne's pencils. Last but not least, Ven's style just compliments the book but the fact that he's always been in my corner he know's these characters as much as I do.
Mundorff with his designs, and my little brother from Malaysia who makes people stop in their tracks with his cover work Shahir Shakir. Jet Amago and Johnny Lowe always close the show for me in style polishing every page with their talent.

Rich: What is the Guild Works Publications?

Hector: GWP is a vision that Keith Murphey and I share of what we believe comic books should be. We know we won't be able to please everybody all the time but at then end of the day it's about doing what we love doing. We hope others decide to join us on that road be it contributing to making good solid books or just reading and supporting what we're doing.

Rich: What can you tell us about the werewolf that spits magma?

Hector: Burucu-Aja (Evil-Dog) is really a demon who serves his master faithfully without question. He can summon and control demons and monsters on earth's realm. He needs a host to be among us and usually will retain that host until he sees fit or until he's returned to hell. His blood is as hot as the Magma he spits and he eventually needs to find fresh human blood to cool it back down. Powerful, fearless, and definitely a force to be reckon with.

Rich: How did you feel when you held the first completed issue in your hands?

Hector: That for me was a mind blowing experience, it's one thing to do a short story for a book but when you pour your heart and soul and make a your own full book, Wow!

Rich: What was "Mandie Pandie"?

Hector: Ha! Mandie Pandie, lol. Mandie Pandie was or is a children's book I illustrated for Sam Vera from Crazy Comics. It was fun, I had an opportunity to do my cartoony style and I love every minute of it.

Rich: So what is after "Hell's Blood" for you?

Hector: Well at the moment, next in line is Best Shots Babes and Guns a pin up book followed by WCS Outbreak an anthology of zombie stories followed by HB #3 and hopefully if I can pull it off Battle Arms.

Rich: Do you have lots of other ideas for comics?

Hector: I do, like I mentioned previously Battle Arms is my next big jump. Battle Arms is a book about Street Fighter like characters but in my style with very gory situations. Protruding bones from broken limbs and neck snapping will
be among the pandomoniume that'll be part of the battles in the book

Rich: How can someone contact you?

Hector: You can reach me at hbdeviant@yahoo.com to scold me or praise me, or throw money at me and I also take credit cards, money orders, paypal and checks!

Rich: Any words for fans of "Hell's Blood"?

Hector: I would say....... jump on for the ride, you'll enjoy it! Also thank you for the support and praise.
