Comments: Howard is a little boy with an insane dad and a mother who has to look after Howard while his dad is locked away. Howard reads his dad's diary. It is about R'yleh a hidden Kingdom. As Howard speaks the unsanctified words of a unsanctified language things start happening and turning weird.
The art is simple but eye catching. Howard is illustrated as a little boy with big childish eyes. He seems innocent but there is something about him that seems different.
Thu Thu Hmong is one lovecraftian creation. This creature is the stuff of nightmares. In this case though he is on the side of the angels. Looks can be deceiving.
The Kingdom of R'yleh is a cold desolute land. The Jinn is drawn as a scary engine of destruction.
The story is the adventure of a life time for young Howard.
Dagon the Jinn is a creature of such evil intent his visage alone would scare you half to death.
Howard takes on a quest to save all in this strange and wonderous land. He wants to be a hero and he does have the courage. Howard and spot the Thu Thu Hmong do have one scary and exciting adventure which is all to brief. It is illustrated in true love craftian way. Tenacled monsters in the dark are a staple here.
Cthulhu the ultimate evil is released. The ending here does leave you wondering what is next. Also it will leave you fearful.
