Comments: This book pokes lots of lighthearted fun at the Buddha. In his early days he does seem like a pretty cool guy.
Buddha gets to hang out with Jesus for a while to. They become great buddies.
The art is colorful and done in a way that really brings out the fact this is a parody.
Buddha also gets to meet the Greeks and their heroes. This Cyclops shots red eye beams from his visor. Remind you of anyone like an X-Man.
Drugs are mentioned a lot here. They are used a lot to. Buddha here is really into sex and drugs and he can fight to.
Buddha does visit all the major religions. He has fun with them and the main characters from them. It is also entertaining to watch him as he acts in ways the true Buddha would not.
Buddha even gets to meet a few literary characters and one celebrity who may or may not be dead. Long live the King.
Becoming enlightened can be fun if you follow the path of Buddha.
