Price: $ 29.99 US
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Websites: www.lulu.com , www.mycomicbook.com , www.studentpublishing.com , www.creationsbyyou.com
Comments: You can create your very own comic book using this kit. The kit will allow you to create a 16 page comic book with both front and back covers.
Included in the kit are:
Pencil, sharpener and artist eraser
Outline pen
10 washable markers
Internet production code
Complete cost for one Comic Book (extras available)
18 comic design pages (extras for corrections)
Instructions
Order form
Postage-paid envelope
Having a couple extra pages is a great idea since most kids, teens and even adults who are trying this out for the first time are likely to make mistakes.
The outline pen or pen for inking is a nice slim design. You will be able to draw wonderfully smooth lines with it.
You can create your comic by hand or design it online.
The finished book is a standard 6.5 " x 10" comic book size and 16-page Comic Book with real cover design including professionally typeset title, artist's name and barcode.
The pages are set up but you have to add your own panel outlines and of course your own art.
There is an instruction book with this kit. The art and instructions are simple and straightforward. The booklet is funny and entertaining, it will hold a young readers attention and get them interested in creating a comic book. This will encourage students or anyone to use their imagination and create.
What will make or break this kit is the amount of time and work the purchaser or user is willing to put into it.
