Comments: We are given a quick introduction to the main characters. Wow one moment everything is fine and the next the entire High School is somewhere else.
Adrian Roth plans on going exploring, while two girls Karen Jacobs and Sanami Ota want to stay with the school building. The girls are written and illustrated as just ordinary girls. Adrian though seems to have something about him that is off. Karen is going to keep an eye on Adrian.
The aliens creating on this strange planet are drawn with an evil appearance.
These students and teachers have been brought here for a reason. There is something going on.
The only place that might have answers could be deadly. What will the students find in the woods? There is lots of mysteries here and some great characters that you will be able to identify with.
This promises to be an intense outing for these students.

Comments: A school and all of its students and teachers were transported to an alien moon. Now they must figure out what happened, how to get back, and how to survive.
The students realize the situation better than the teachers. They start taking steps to survive. The teachers are inspired to step up and take charge.
One group of students out searching find something wicked in the woods. It might just be hungry to. This moon is just full of dangerous creatures.
The art does show the students and teachers as ordinary students and teachers. They have just been put into a unordinary situation. Things are strange and weird and getting worse cause they are deadly to.

Comments: In the school the teachers are taking change and using bullies to enforce their control. The student bullies are quick to get out of hand. You will see the evil in them and the teachers as they enforce their rules.
The story does start out slow but does build up as it goes along.
Six teenagers went out to find out who brought them to this alien moon. They do get lots of excitement. They find out fast this place is deadly.
Things are definitely happening. The danger mounts. The art is looking great. The colors are outstanding.
The characters are all being used and something is happening with them all. People teachers and students both are reacting and acting to this unknown situation.

Comments: The students are having a hard time adjusting to their new surroundings. The teachers and students are on power trips about who should be in charge. This leads to conflict.
This alien moon is full of weird and dangerous creatures.
One small group of students while exploring the area find some amazing things. Things that might lead to them understanding better what is happening.
Than just when you thought you had seen everything out comes something totally unexpected. The woods are under the control of someone. They do have some nice outfits. This is definitely not Sherwood though and these are no merry men.

Comments: We get a look back at school life for a couple of the girls. Sanami has one very coolly drawn tree house.
Sanami and a couple other students are prisoners on this alien moon. Now what the people who have them are is anyone's guess. They are a mystery.
Our explorers are out in the woods and it is no picnic. Adrian and the Black Rocks are going to do their own thing.
Karen is loyal to her friend. We see that in how she behaved before and how she does after their arrival on this alien moon. She is illustrated cute to. This is a girl you would want as a girlfriend.

Comments: One year before the events in this story we see Casey and Calder two brothers that are very different. The art lacks detail in the illustrations of these brothers. Casey is a bad influence on Calder but everyone seems to think it is reversed for some reason. No idea is given for it though.
Than in the present on the alien moon. Adrian, Calder and Karen are not working well together which is what they need to do to survive. This moon is filled with dangers the likes of which you have never seen.
The creature drawings are of scary weird things that one would have nightmares about. Everything in the woods is dangerous.
Calder shows he is made of stern stuff. He is a survivor whether its against his older brother or alien monsters. The bear/wolf creature is something you just have to see.

Comments: One year ago we look into the past of one of the students, Ben. For some reason the writer decided its important to point out that Ben is gay.
Ben is in love with one of the other students. He is physically strong but mentally he is insecure.
The students who went exploring find themselves in a fight for their lives. One of them taps into the planets secrets for help.
There is some action and fighting but not enough. Other than Ben there is no character development.
The art is ok but nothing stands out not even the huge tiger type beast. The students do not get shown with much emotion.
As we see the students in the forest it is hard to not wonder what is going on back at the school. A look back there would have been nice to see.
The alien moon and aliens creatures do hold some interest they just need to be explored more.

Comments: Adrian has some how taped into the moon's defences. He now has power. He is on a power trip and feels he does not need anyone.
The dragons are illustrated nicely and colored amazingly well.
This issue has a little bit of excitement but it is almost non existent. There needed to be more happening. The characters mostly just stand around.
Adrian we do learn a little about his personality. Really though it is not much more than has come through in previous issues. Isaac does love Adrian and here we see Adrian break his heart. Adrian does use people until he is done with them.
There is some mystery as to what is going on. It does generate a slight amount of curiousness.

Comments: A brief look into the past of this moon and those on it has some interest.
In the present well things are boring nothing is really going on. The art has nothing to show off.
Things are heating up and it looks as if the children will be in for a fight one way or another. Just there was no fighting here and no action.
Something needed to happen this issue other than just standing around talking.
The art is good but there was not much of a chance to show it off.
Things are moving along just real slowly.
What Adrian's role in this story will be seems to be a mystery. Plus who brought them there and why we still have no clue about. It would be nice to have something explained about it or a clue given.

Comments: The teachers and students all face enslavement. They are trying to make plans to prevent it.
Now the children go exploring and they do see some wondrous things. There is a Black City it is a mysterious place that most do not return from.
The children interacting with each other are nice to follow, they provide some interest.
There really though needs to be more explained as to what is going on and why. The art is ok but nothing outstanding.
The mystery as to why an attack is coming does build some suspense. The leader of the attackers is one possessed evil child. He is scary.

Comments: Isaac and Ben have a heart to heart talk about Isaac's life in general the last part before coming to this alien moon. Than Adrian shows up. Adrian has become possessed and is an evil creature now but some of who he was is still in there or is he.
We get some reunions this issue.
An army is on the march. They are going to the school. So things are looking dim for our students and staff.
People have plans lots of different people and different plans. How will they all work out? Only the coming issues will tell.
This issue is character driven. You get to learn more about how these students are adjusting to their new home. It is not easy having to fight to survive.

Comments: Adrian and Isaac do have a friendship that does run deep. Now Adrian though has a plan which involves him tapping into a power on this alien moon.
Adrian is full of power and he is more than willing to use it without caring who he hurts or kills. The power flows around him wonderfully illustrated in a green yellow lightning light.
Things do get intense here. Adrian goes to far and those who know him react to it. The story focuses on Adrian and it goes by quickly. Some big things happen but they are over fast.
This moon is a dangerous place to be. Yes he has monsters but the most dangerous things here are the students.

Comments: Karen Jacobs is illustrated as a seasoned warrior rather than the high school girl she is. The creature she faces is a fierce beast drawn to inspire terror.
Maria Ramirez and Sander Kendrick are two more students on this alien moon. They have started to grow accustomed to their surroundings.
Sanami Ota is one who comes up with ideas that work. She is very confident in herself.
We get a look at other students as well and the progress they have made living here. They are adjusting as well as they can and seem to have accepted their fate.
Benjamin Stone he seems so uncertain about everything. He got what he wanted but does he really want it.
Isaac Andrews is shown so happy a big difference from how he once was.
As the students are settling in things change. Something wicked this way comes. How will the students survive?

Comments: The students are all falling apart. Drugs, suicide, arguing, in fighting they appear to be their own worst enemies.
Karen and Sander have something between them but what is hard to say.
Nothing is explained this issue. Something is going on and a danger is looming but we have no idea what it is.
The various creatures and alien planet life are all strange. They do let you know that you are on an alien moon.
The story needs to focus more and focus you on what is going on. Working on character development would be nice if that did occur this issue, it does not though.
The students are illustrated in a great style that shows them realistic enough in their present setting.

Comments: We do look in on what is happening with the students. Even though they are not really students in the general sense. They do keep learning things though.
One of the problems with this comic is it does not delve into the characters enough. We need to really get to know them.
Ben and Isaac have a heart to heart talk but it is all one sided. Ben is hurting and wants to know what is going on with Isaac.
Ben puts things in perspective when a friend is in trouble. Its not about who likes who or who is on who's side. Ben says it best "She's our friend and she's in trouble. The end." Hes going to help.
There is an army holding Karen. So can a few kids rescue her?
There are a few good moments overall though not much happens. Karen's attitude is nice to see as she is captive.

Comments: Karen is shown in a happy time on this moon. It seems strange that everything is going so well There is a reason for that. Karen looks so awful in reality, she is suffering and you cannot help but feel sorry for her.
Things are happening and people are making their moves. War is coming. Who will lead the people from the school? Who will they follow?
There are lots of questions.
Karen though stands out she is a character you will want to follow. You will care about what happens to her.
These new people now on the playing field will change things but for good or bad that remains to be seen.

Comments: Political rumblings are going on. An election is running and most are sure who will win.
Isaac and Adrian have an interesting relationship. They are sort of friends but not like normal friends.
This issue does focus on Isaac. Who does he really want to be? His life until now has been unfulling. Things though do change for better or worse.
The rest of the characters in this series are not used much at all this issue.
The art does portray a colony of scared teenagers who think they can do better. Danger is lurking all around though. Most may die unless they come up with something. A
Isaac and what he may become will have you waiting to find out.

Comments: Casey and Calder are brothers. Calder is a good guy but his brother Casey well he has come across as a snake. Casey is acting like Hitler only his brother does not see it.
Karen is being tested to see if she is strong enough. Yes the ones who plan to conquer and rule only want the strong to survive. The most perfect ones to be a part of them.
Casey is evil and willing to kill mercilessly. Casey has a plan and it looks as if it will work.
Change is coming and things do not look good at all. Who will survive this culling?

Comments: Lots of people are dying from the monsters and Casey who is being used by Taisho.
Maria leads the other children doing what she can to save them. Yes the feeling of impending doom is everywhere. Meanwhile Karen hunts the monsters. She has become good at killing them.
Students sacrifice themselves while others fight on. There is lots of action here. The monsters just keep coming.
The question though still remains why? Why were these people brought to this alien moon in the first place? That question has never been answered.
The monster art is disgusting in a good way. The art makes these creatures things that would slink out of your darkest nightmares.

Comments: The colors are blazing here. They will grab and hold you. Isaac has become something more powerful than he was.
Karen is a warrior now and she stands ready to face Isaac.
Things do need to be explained way better. There is some fighting and then talk of more fighting. There are also two groups one good and one bad. What exactly are their plans?
Karen is a shown as non emotional. Having some emotion would make her character more interesting and stronger. She could make a great leader.
This issue needs a more solid storyline running throughout it.
The creatures drawn here are evil looking things. The battleship is illustrated beautifully.

Comments: Maria is making the city into a home. She is working so hard to make things the best they can be. Things do change though.
Karen the hard skinned fighter is unsure about her relationships and how to proceed. Karen has had so much happen to her since coming to this moon. She has been pushed way beyond her limits.
Calder steps up and Sander joins him. They plan a most exciting and dangerous mission.
The art is gorgeously done in a nice simple style.
The story needs more focus to it. It needs to explain better what is going on. Yes there is fighting and warring sections but why and who are the different sections.
Karen is a great character and focusing on her works to a certain degree.

Comments: Karen is not doing really well. She is blaming herself for everything. Sanami just wants to help her though. Karen got better and now, she is hard nosed.
Karen wants the city's people ready to fight. Karen's frustration over the fact that they are not ready is easy to see. Her facial expressions are intense.
The storyline could use a brief recap. It is hard to follow everything that is going on. The way the settings jump around in time is confusing.
Karen and Sanami get a plan ready they are going after Sander and Calder. They are focused.
These characters are great, they are so well conceived. Karen really stands out as she is the focus of this issue. You will have all kinds of feelings for her both love and hate.

Comments: Well Calder seems to have a plan one though that is not thought out to well.
The story jumps around so much it is hard to follow. Are you in the present or the past who can tell.
Karen is shown very briefly and it is the best part of this issue. She is a great character just she is not used this issue.
The story is like a soap opera.
Calder gets another plan. Will it succeed only time will tell. He is written as if he now has hope not for himself but for others.
Karen shows some emotion which is nice to see from her. She is a great warrior and fighter but it is nice to see more from her such as concern.
The art is beautifully done showing off this alien moon and the creatures that inhabit it. The students are shown to have adopted to it.

Comments: The story skips around to much. It changes from one time to another to much.
Calder is being a hero rescuing his people. So is Karen. Poor Karen though suffers a devastating loss.
The art has a roughness to it which contributes to it being to sparse at times.
Karen is shown with such emotion, the art really delivers on a close up of her face.
Wow the sheer emotion of this issue is devastating. Karen is featuring as well she should be. She is a main character and always of interest.
Karen makes this issue. In the two years they have been on the alien moon she has really developed as a character.

Comments: Meanwhile back on Earth. I think this is the first time in the series that it has gone back to Earth. Dr. Jacobs the parent of Karen one of the high school teens that were transported to the alien moon is featured. This is an unexpected turn to the story. It adds a much needed twist. Seeing how this whole thing has effected those living on Earth. The parents and others gather once a year to support each other and remember their children. They gather in a hole where the school used to be.
Its been two years now since the incident.
Than we go back to the alien moon. Isaac Andrews is now very different than he was before he arrived here. Adrian Roth has also changed a lot. Benjamin Stone is a lovable guy. Sanami Ota is a downer personality. Sander Kendrick is full of hope. Caulder Macready well he is dead but not forgotten. Karen Jacobs she does care. This is what this series needed as well to tell us a little about who each character is.
The art is done in a style that fits the rough alien moon they live on. It also fits for the people who have had a rough time adjusting.
The ending well this is a surprise and one so way out there as to leave you in shock.

Comments: We see more about the impact of the missing children on their parents.
We also see the students on the alien moon. They think they might have a chance to go home and are going to take it. A little hope is a great thing but here it does not overly inspire. These students have been hit to hard by this alien moon and its denizens.
The scenery is desolate, foreboding. You just know bad things will happen.
Something is happening with this alien moon and Earth. The way the story goes back and forth it is easy to tell something big is about to happen.
The main players are shown and are moving to their places. Big things are coming. You can just feel the tension in the air.

Comments: Karen's mom back on earth is hoping for a sign her daughter is alive and well. She is joined by another mother as well. They are both very emotional. Both miss their children so much.
Isaac finds some of the other students that were in danger. Isaac and Adrian have solved the secret mystery behind the moon. Issac does have a plan. What will happen though is anyone's guess.
This issue we see the students do finally have a chance of getting what they have wanted since they arrived on this alien moon.
This issue basically sets up for what is coming. It certainly looks like things are going to ramp up to the highest gear next issue.

Comments: Our small band of students are in a city that is a computer generated one. In the city they are exploring suddenly Isaac turns. He has become powerful filled with the city's power.
The art is intense. The characters are drawn with an intensity that draws you to them.
Isaac this version is ruthless and cares only about himself. He will kill anyone in his way. He kills Sanami or does he?
Things are starting not to make sense but they are getting much more interesting.
The action and suspense and excitement have amped up this issue.
Is Sanami home? Is she really back on Earth? How did it happen? Was it suppose to happen? What will happen next? These questions and more will draw you back. Things are getting very interesting?

Comments: This issue starts out slow and than you are hit by it. Sanami is home, back on Earth.
Mr. Ramirez now he knows way more about what happened than the others on Earth. He came prepared.
The art is done well enough. just that not a lot happens this issue. So there is not much to illustrate other than people standing around.
Sanami she is left wondering what is going on. We see she has so many questions. The reader as well is left with many.
Karen is shown laying down. Yep that is all she does this issue. She is a girl of action so it would have been nice to see her in action.
The alien monsters are illustrated and colored so wonderfully. They are a delight to behold.

Comments: Karen goes to meet Taisho but finds a trap. These two do come to an agreement. Taisho though is the one shown in control while Karen just seems to be following his lead. Karen's personality does not usually fit with that being a follower.
Of course the whole story now revolves around this alien moon and how it ties in with Earth.
The story line currently going on stays a mystery. Why are people doing what they are? Who is everyone shown? The story needs to be written so it is easier to follow.
The art is done gorgeously and fits the story and characters. The people from the moon have a tough weathered look. Some have an air of magic about them. The purple monkey thing is cute and frightening at the same time.
Karen is one tough hard girl who still has a cute side to her. She stands out as someone to watch.

Comments: Sanami remembers her first minutes on the alien moon.
Sanami and her dad have an intense moment. Well actually only Sanami is intense her dad seems to have no emotions at all for her. You will feel sorry for her and even more pity for him. Can he change, maybe.
Meanwhile back on the alien moon a fierce battle rages on. Karen fights for her life. Nothing is explained about the battle though.
The focus on Sanami though carries this issue.
The art is gorgeously done. Each character shown is illustrated just how you would imagine them to be. These are people and Sanami being one of them is drawn as a woman who has been on the hardest most dangerous adventure of her life.

Comments: Karen is the focus here. As we get a peak at her childhood and similarities to her time on the alien moon.
Isaac is shown having some kind of angry fit. The green coloring on him is beautifully done.
The story is hard to follow. Even if you have been following this series from issue one. Overall the art is boring and the people are not posed in any dynamic poses.
It looks like this issue is setting up for Karen vs Isaac in the battle to end all battles. These two or what is left of them after their time on this alien moon are the moon's most powerful and skilled.
The green coloring is amazing to see. Isaac is illustrated to look like a god come to life. Karen is plain yet with a look about her that says deadly beyond measure.

Comments: Karen and Sander do have a complicated relationship. Sander really shines here he is one incredible human being. He makes you feel proud to be human.
Karen is a woman, leader someone you can follow. Thousands will follow her even if it is to their deaths.
The art is simply gorgeous showing Karen and Sander. Sander loves her so much and Karen respects Sander and even has feelings for him.
Issac has a plan. All the humans on this alien moon have been gathered together but what for? To fight, to go home? To die? What will Issac do with or to them?
Things are getting exciting in this sci-fi adventure that will have you begging for more.

Comments: Adrian and Isaac were good friends as teens when they lived back at home on Earth.
Adrian has figured out a way to contact Earth. Maybe he can do more than just contact Earth? He does have a plan. This super villain has ever only wanted to help people and get some recognition for it.
The coloring is so beautifully done on this issue. The way the in-between or dreams-cape is shown is a illustrated delight. Karen and Sander on their last mission riding well some kind of creature you need to see it it is hard to describe.
As things wind up for the final battle there are a lot of emotions floating around.
Things are racing towards an end and the excitement is climbing. You will be hooked wanting to see where everything is leading. You will be hanging on just waiting for the next issue.

Comments: Ben is such a wonderful character, he is a great guy but his romantic life is so hard. His boyfriend left him for a computer ghost. Not something that happens every day.
Ben is getting ready to go to war. Fighting in a war against monsters makes it even harder.
This issue does fill in some of the mysteries of this moon and why it exists and why humans are brought to it. Also we are finally told what the machines on the moon want.
Isaac at least what is left of him has become a monster one that is controlled. Ben talks to him trying to get through to him and who he used to be. Meanwhile Karen launches her own attack. Humans do not go down easy.
Things are all coming to a head. How will the story end?

Comments: Well the students are making their push to return home and the alien computer is not happy about it.
Karen and Isaac are fighting hard against the computer. The coloring in the art as they do is gorgeously done, nice soft shades of green. The art illustrating the characters shows their personalities so well.
Isaac and Ben share a moment of deep emotional feelings. You can just feel Ben's heart breaking as he does what needs to be done.
Karen can not take on the computer alone and with Isaac and Adrian's imprints in it she does not have to.
This is the ending which is really a beginning for Karen and all the others. Not quite they all lived happily ever after but close enough. So ends one exciting adventure with plenty of drama and heart break but also some happy moments. The end is here and now it really begins.
