We are writing as we'd like to meet you at San Diego Comic Con. We will be at our partner Arcana Studio's Booth # 2415. We are new on the market and are fully aware the comics are a visual medium. We are available for interview at the show in person but we'd love to talk to all press regardless. Want to book an interview/meeting ahead of time? Email firstname.lastname@example.org.

What is VisionBooks? A company that offers a mix of traditional comics and movie quality 3D animation
Why is this important to me? Because this is the future of comics. This is more then motion comics. This is as close to taking your favorite comic and turning it into a movie without getting Hollywood involved!
How do I check this out with downloading the Ipad/Android Tablet App?

SAN DIEGO COMIC CON PRESENTATION:
We will be presenting its futuristic 3D animation applied to comics at the Arcana Panel presentation.
Come and join us on Friday, July 25 at 6:30 pm at room 26 AB of the San Diego Convention Center to learn more about this incredible new way to enjoy digital comics.
Simone Offredo and Francesco Scrufari, a former art director of a sport-clothing brand and a multi-platform digital project manager respectively, began a journey of entrepreneurship, technology and creative thinking at age 23, not easily accomplished in Italy, which traditionally sees youth as a business liability rather than an asset, and rarely favors first-generation entrepreneurships.
Inspired by Picasso, the pair hung a quote on the wall of their very first, very small office, “The chief enemy of creativity is ‘good’ sense”.
In order to succeed, Simone and Francesco realized they needed to lack ‘good sense’ and bravely founded and launched Ulixe, a provider of web-based services. Together they developed innovative solutions for well-known, Italian companies in banking and industrial sectors. Thirteen years later, Ulixe has transformed into a holding of six different business units, with offices in Turin, Milan, Rome, London and Los Angeles and over 180 employees.
The Picasso quote that helped inspire their first company, continued to encourage the pair, this time to break into creative technology. True entrepreneurs, Simone and Francesco decided to venture into the US market and founded Visionborne.
Visionborne produces ground-breaking technology that turns static, editorial content into an enriched, vibrant, skillfully animated format. Under the Visionborne umbrella is Visionbooks, which revolutionizes comic book reading by transforming one-dimensional comic books into a digital animation experience. Visionbooks’ new digital-technology brings illustrated panels to life with action and dimensional motion and is the most advanced motion illustration developed within comic book industry so far.
This labor of love began with an interest in super heroes and comics in adolescence, something that helped Simone and Francesco boldly daydream and engage their imaginations.
“We want to do for comics what special effects have done for cinema,” said Simone, “It’s important for us to retain the general feel of the comics, the ‘mis en scene’ of the tables.”
“There are two crucial factors at the core of the comic reading experience; the narrative along with the visual journey the author has created, combined with the imagination of the reader,” offered Francesco, “Keeping these two elements as our holy grail, we enhance them with special effects and showmanship, within a medium that is ready to reinvent itself.” Next to Picasso’s quote in Simone and Francesco’s California-based office, there is now a Goethe quote that is the driving force behind the young company’s trajectory: “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
