Comments: Cute drawing of a monster here and than more. They are actually pretty cool looking. The close ups of their fangs is done with a scary aspect.
Star has a unique way of fighting off the monsters. One that shows he cares about himself more than others.
Star is illustrated looking kind of weird, creepy and slick.
The monsters attacking and Star battling back is exciting and action packed.

Title: Marked # 4

Comments: Our demon hunter is busy with his calling. As he tracks down the demon he finds a situation in dire need of his kind of help.
Our demon killer does show a dedication to his vocation. Once he is there he is focused and nothing will sway him from his job.
The art is simple and basic. On the demon and boy though it does show them off rather well. It gives you an idea of the horror that this is.
The demon killer has a very different way of attacking this demon. It is definitely not something you will expect.

Title: Seabase 17 # 1

Comments: Very cool looking cover to this comic.
One man is shown on his way to Seabase 17. Why is he going though? There is a reason we are just not told it.
The story telling does bring across the dangers under water.
The close ups of faces has more detail than farther back scenes. The close ups do have some detail that adds to the overall drawings. The feeling of being underwater is brought across well in both writing and drawings.
The man does appear heroic in his actions.

Title: Seabase 17 # 2
Publisher: Silber Media
Words: Brian John Mitchell
Art: Shawn Atkins
Price: $ 1.50 US, $ 2.50 International
Rating: 2 out of 5 stars

Comments: A man on Seabase 17 is investigating it. What happened, where are the people? It is a mystery.
The art is simple. It has a nice use of black and greys.
The man can not solve the mystery, than he finds someone else.
We need to know more about the people here and we need to be given some clue as to what is going on.
The man it would be nice if he had a name. All we know is he is some guy investigating this Seabase 17. Who is he, who does he work for, how did he find out there was a problem.
The mystery does peak your interest. You will be interested to find out what happened to the Seabase 17 crew.
