Comments: This story is told from the cats view. Cassiopeia does seem to be very intelligent. She loves to read.
This story is about a team of cats. Midnight, he is like a cat version of Batman. Belle, a cat with super powers. Rocket, he is an alien yes an alien cat. Rocco. a cute and cuddly tough kitty. Than there's Ace, he is the leader.
The story starts out heartbreaking. Also heartwarming. Cassiopeia is one special cat. Along with the other five Hero Cats they make up one fantastic super-hero team.
The art is so cute with these cats. This comic is for younger readers but can be enjoyed by all.
"Dawn of a Hero" Created by Kyle Puttkammer, script and art by Tracey Yardley! this is the back up story. This is the origin of Galaxy Man and Cosmic Girl. This duo make for perfect role models in this family orientated story.

Comments: Belle is one of the Hero Cats and she can read human minds. Ace is the leader of the Hero Cats. The Cats also have Midnight, Rocco, Rocket and Cassiopeia.
The cats do get to battle video game type characters. The battle just intensifies as Ace goes head on with Johnny Arcado.
The art is cute and dramatic showcasing these cats. You get a feel for each ones individual personality.
"The Final Quarter" Is created and written by Kyle Puttkammer and art by Tracy Yardley! Here Galaxy Man and Cosmic Girl face the villain Johnny Arcado. Nice facial expressions in this story. Galaxy Man is drawn heroic. This is a short story of heroes vs villain and it ends just how you would expect.

Comments: Cassiopeia is getting her first day of training to be a Hero Cat. She does excel at her tasks.
The cats are illustrated so cute and they also look so serious when they are training.
Cassiopeia reading the book The Art of War to help her out. She learns fast. Seeing her in action is a thing of beauty as she shows off her talents. This is no ordinary cat. She is shown wanting to make a difference. Wanting to be a hero, a Hero Cat.
"Making the Grade" Created by Kyle Putthammer, script Ashton Adams, art Tracy Yardley! and colors Omaka Schultz. Cosmic Girl has trouble fitting her normal life in with her super-hero one. She is a cute girl.

Comments: The cats are looking into something. The suspense is built up as we can not see what it is they see. Than we do.
We get a look back at Ace's and Midnight's first case together.
Than we follow along with three of the team of Hero Cats. What they find will blow your mind. This is definitely not what anyone was expecting them to find.
These cats are a far cry from ordinary. They do get into one wild and crazy adventure that no ordinary cat would. They seem to attract the outrageous.
The backup story was created and scripted by Kyle Putthammer, pencils and letters by Tracy Yardley!, inks by Ryan Sellers and colors by Omaka Schultz. Galaxy Man & Cosmic Girl mentioned here and Galaxy Man is on the hunt for Cosmic Girl. The art is simple but effective. The character of Galaxy Man is drawn determined.
The Hero Cats just seem to expand beyond what a normal cat would be like. They continue to grow and we continue to learn more about them.

The art is cute and colorful. It helps make the story fun.
The cats have a bug problem. These bugs are no ordinary bugs. Galaxy Man and Cosmic Girl take on the bugs to. So Cats and Heroes together have a unique solution to battle these bugs with.

Comments: The six Hero Cats go to school. They have a mission. It is so entertaining to see how these cats act. The cats are looking for a stolen machine. It is not just an ordinary machine either. It can do amazing things.
Putting the names of the people who worked on this comic on the jerseys of the basketball players was a nice touch within the comic.
A lot of strange things are happening this issue. Plus romance is in the air.
This story seems to rush by and there is not a lot to it. It is over before you can really get into it. It ends just as it starts to draw you in.
The Hero Cats is an all ages comic that can be enjoyed by all. If you love cats well you will be sure to love this comic.

Comments: The art on the Hero Cats and Stellar City does render them as an amazing sight.
Here we see Bandit in action. He is a dark mysterious feline. While he pulls off a job the Hero Cats are otherwise occupied. Beautiful art showing off the giant cat eating venus fly trap type plant. This thing is a nightmare.
The Hero Cats spring into action with claws out and they are in a battle against crows but not ordinary ones. They are controlled by a human.
Bandit was a nice addition to the Hero Cats and hopefully we will end up seeing more of him.
As cats fight to save the Earth you will be caught up in the excitement. It is thrills and chills of the furry kind.

Comments: Bandit is in a dream world and he has found his sister. Things though are different in this dream realm.
The art is gorgeous. Cassiopeia does make one beautiful human girl. The sailing ship is illustrated so lovely. It has just the right amount of detail to it.
The art showing the cats as humans and the way it is presented is done in a manner to make you look forward to seeing the next one.
The Crow King meanwhile has Stellar City just where he wants. What will he do with it now? Plus are the Hero Cats ready to face him/ Belle thinks she is. Her confidence is high.
Well we will find out if a cat can defeat a crow.

Colors by: Omaka Schultz

Comments: The cats are still under the Crow King's spell. All the Hero Cats think they are humans. Which does make things strange.
What do the cats decide to do with overwhelming odds against them. Attack of course. The Crow King's forces are an army of crow/man like creatures and crows that seeing would frighten anyone. Belle has a plan and she knows what she is doing. The Hero Cats are shown acting as heroes facing danger head on and not flinching.
Midnight when he appears is a force all on his own. But it is his being part of a team that saves the day.
The Hero Cats are a fun exciting team of cats who are more than just cats. The cats are drawn cute and cuddly so you will want to hug them and also you will want to follow their adventures.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Comments: The Hero Cats are in a hot air balloon with a girl. The cats look cute and fun as they exit the balloon. Midnight looks ready for action.
Why is a little Princess with the Hero Cats and why are they all in the Old West. We are also treated to an old fashioned train robbery. The cats of course do get involved.
This has got to be the only comic where you will ever see six cats and a Princess riding a horse.
The art and story are good but how did the Hero Cats time travel? Are they now stuck in the past forever? It makes no sense.
It is cute seeing the Hero Cats in action in the old west.

Title: Hero Cats # 11

Comments: The Hero Cats find themselves on an island. Have you ever seen cats riding elephants? Well you can.
The art is simply done with vibrant colors. The cats are drawn cute and also to show intelligence.
The story takes a turn as violence erupts from the jungle. Malo and Chisulo meet Ace, Rocco, Rocket, Cassiopeia and Belle.
The Hero Cats have a mystery to solve on this Island. The cats put an end to this mystery way to easy. There needed to be more to the story. Yes the one fight scene at the start is good but that is it. Any other time action starts up it stops right away.
The Hero Cats with their abilities make for one great team.

Letters by: Shannon Butt
Price: $ 3.99 US
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Comments: The Hero Cats are in the Far East. Well cats in kimonos what will they think of next.
A war is about to break out. It starts with the cats fighting ninjas. Yes that's right its cats and claws versus ninjas and swords.
This is a short sweet adventure with action and battles. There is however no explanation as to why the cats ended up in a boat in the Far East.
The art on these cats and other cats makes them seem also like humans. Plus the way they speak and act you would think they really are humans.
The way each cat is portrayed as if it has a separate personality that is different from all the others is well done. Each cat is unique even ones that are not Hero Cats.
It was nice to see Midnight doing the right thing above all else a Hero Cat helps others.

Comments: This is an alternate else world tale. It takes place in a universe and world different than the one you know.
Here Belle is a powerful sorcerous. Ace has fallen in love with Cassiopeia and wants the sorcerous Belle to help him.
Shadow in this world is a vampire. The glowing eyes and sharp long fangs give him away.
Rocket as well we see another version of. He is an evil alien robot.
This issue is made for Halloween, it has all sorts of creatures to frighten you.
This world ruled by the Hero Cats of the Apocalypse is a nightmare place. Good thing Cassiopeia can control it.
Great Halloween story with some great art. It is a fun break from the regular stories.

Comments: The Hero Cats save a small robot and make it better than it was. A crook with a bunch of robots and two of the robots are called Bonnie and Clyde. The Cats get help from Cosmic Girl. Well she completely takes over and never even sees the Hero Cats.
The Hero Cats make a new friend and take him home. He might even become part of the team.
This adventure is really boring. There is some robot action with Cosmic Girl but that is it. The cats hardly do anything at all and only a couple of them are featured.
The backup story "Jordan's Junkyard" Story by Kyle Puttkammer, art by Jim Mehsling nd lettering by George Gant.
D-Bot gets in some needed practice with a couple of the Hero Cats. He wants to be a hero and it shows. D-Bot will make a great addition to the team.

Comments: "The Secret Origin of Rocco" We learn Rocco hates bullies. This cat knows how to fight. He also gets to see his first space ship.
"Rocket's First Launch" Rocket was born on a space station where he loved to run fast. Here we get to see the first meeting of Rocco and Rocket and how they became friends. It is a nice story, short though.
"Intergalactic Intrigue!" Cassie and a couple of girls Nuclear Nellie and Cosmic Girl go joy riding in space and chase a UFO. They meet many interesting creatures in space. You will be surprised. The art is cute to.
Then we are treated to a gorgeous pin-up page of Nuclear Nellie and Cassie.
The Hero Cats are an adventurous team and they are way more than just ordinary cats. They will amaze you.

Comments: "Hero Cats of Skyworld, Part 1" The Crow King is in hot pursuit of Bandit. The Crow King is amazingly drawn. If a real Crow King exited this is what you would expect him to look like.
Bandit and Robot find themselves on a strange world that is not Earth.
Sapphire is a cat from this strange world and he is a hero. The coloring is different on him. It is done awesome. The grey's and blues make him stand out.
Madalyn is a gypsy cat. Her eyes catch your attention right away. Madalyn has some creatures after her. What are they and why are they after her?
Newton now this cat his brains. Lancelot can you picture a cat as a knight if you can you know what Lancelot looks like.
These cats are the begging's of a new team of Hero Cats.
Midnight is a Hero Cat one who can inspire other cats.
