Rich: In general how would you describe the comics you make?

Adam: Graphic depictions of one sad saps proverbial "last day alive."

Rich: Why make your comics different sizes?

Adam: Cost control mainly plus i like to the challenge of formatting and printing odd sized books.

Rich: Why the name "One Last Day" for the comics title?

Adam: On every page or book it is the main characters "last day" alive or it depicts his violent death..

Rich: Who are some of the characters in "The Last Day"?

Adam: I mainly use a generic smiley face character in all my stories. I also use a fat gangster guy and a female one as well plus a bunch of other random victims.

Rich: What makes a comic an underground comic?

Adam: Comics that test he boundaries of the norm. Comics that re-invent or create new ways of reading/making comics.

Rich: Where do your ideas come from for your comics?

Adam: My brain and the synapses that it fires. Plus a ton of random influences.

Rich: What makes your comics stand out above the rest?

Adam: I don't know if they stand above the rest but I do have a very unique style and storytelling method. I also dive into subject matter most people tend to stay clear of like ones own death or the end of the world.

Rich: Do you prefer black and white or color comics?

Adam: I love black and white but I would do color if I could afford it.

Rich: How did you first get involved in making comics?

Adam: I use to print my own death metal/ grindcore fanzine a long time ago and I loved how i could do whatever the hell I wanted in it. So when i stopped doing that I decided to do a comic with that same attitude.

Rich: Do you have any comic series you like to read?

Adam: I love Hideshi Hino horror comics. I have been reading a lot of the older Metal Huralant stuff lately. Those artists are and were some insane draftsmen.

Rich: What do people think of the art hanging on your wall?

Adam: I do various a lot of creepy and cute styles of paintings and art so it is usually a mixed reaction.

Rich: How do you spend any free time you get?

Adam: Free time what is that. Seriously though I usually just spend it with my wife and kids or some of the art related friends i have.

Rich: If you could have one super power what would it be and why?

Adam: Being rich that is a super power right? The Nihilist in me wants to say Immortality so i can watch humanity destroy itself. Damn that got dark. Actually i am a pretty happy dude.

Rich: How do you feel about those who take the time to read your comics?

Adam: I loved them with all my soul!!!!
