| Joe Martino wants to bring Shadowflame to a new generation of readers

October 27th, 2016– Aberdeen, NJ–Red Anvil Comics is proud to announce that the Shadowflame 20th Anniversary Ultimate Hardcover, with an amazing wraparound cover by comic book legend John Byrne, Is now crowdfunding through the website Kickstarter. The campaign will run until November 20th 2016.
When Officer Tom Wyatt's wife, Janice, was murdered he attempted to end his own life. Instead he found himself transported to a ship orbiting the Earth. He could not kill himself for he was the last of a family line that possessed the perfect genetic Imprint to receive the 'gift of power’. In a painful ceremony, he was endowed with powers that transformed him into a superman. This gave him not only great powers, but a reason to live.

About Red Anvil Comics - Back in the late part of 2012, New Jersey based comic artists and small press publishers Dave Ryan and Joe Martino started discussing merging Joe’s JGM Comics and Dave’s Red Anvil Comics. Between the two of them, they have a combined experience of over 40 years of producing comics and publishing experience for a wide audience.During the course of their discussions, they tried to come up with a company name that both grabbed and inspired but nothing really grabbed or inspired them! Ultimately, it finally dawned on them that they already had a great name – in Red Anvil Comics.
