Comments: The Priestess Nebetah she wants to enter the Blessed Lands.
The art is amazing in its portrayal of ancient Egyptian mythological entities.
Angelina Kostenko she has the Mark of Kharis. She is the next Isis. As she wraps herself in bandages we are greeted to an aewsome and ominous site. The art is powerful showing her off. The bandages use of greys and blacks gives them an ancient look.
Osiris as you see him you will know what evil is. The art here does inspire terror.
The story needed to be tied together better. The first part and second parts seem totally separate.
The ancient feel to this comic is what makes it stands out. It does capture the old Hammer style of movies in its pages.

Comments: Angel is on the run with Ammit right behind her. Ammit is a demon dog and certainly illustrated as one. This creature is a terror to behold.
Angel has been partially possessed by Nebetah the high priestess. Angel gets some of her memories and loses some of her own. You can easily see how much this is disturbing Angel. Both the art and writing bring it across well.
The story moves along like a movie from Hammer Horror Films. It shows you the characters and builds up some interest. You find yourself hoping for Angel. You want things to work out for her even when you know they will not.
Palimpsest is coming and it looks like no one can protect Angel. Angel is portrayed here just how you would expect someone in her position to act. She is confused but still you see her inner strength.
So you can watch this old style horror movie in these pages as it unfolds.

Comments: People do want to live forever and Angel finds herself in the middle of it all.
The story starts off slow and than all hell breaks loose. There is lots of action. Angel and Duncan do end up being chased by one horrific creature of evil. It is drawn as something ancient and that could have crawled up out of your nightmare.
The story does flow just like a movie made by Hammer Horror films from the time period. You can feel the ancient stirrings within these pages. A little more focus in the story would be better though. It could be made clearer what is happening and who everyone is.
The relationship between Angel and Nebetah is not explored here as much as it should be. These two are the main characters and should be the focus. Angel is a wonderful girl who just found herself in a situation beyond her control. Beyond anyone's control as evil ancient musty forces rise.

Comments: The High Priest Kharis seeks the High Priestess Nebetah.
Ammit is a huge monster the Devourer of Hearts. He is after Angel who is possessed by Nebetah. Duncan is helping her and enjoying at least part of that. Ammit is illustrated so you see his ancient evil in his form.
Angel is in a no win situation. The Pyramid Club and the Anubis Sect are fighting over who gets her.
The faces at times are illustrated so badly they look like a jumbled mess.
You do get the feel of an old movie but here we needed more to happen. Some action packed excitement would have been nice.
Angel is a strong woman in a situation that is extraordinary.
