Comments: Here the Green Lanterns who survived their Universe's destruction have joined with Star Fleet.
In outer space the Enterprise and Green Lanterns are illustrated beautifully as they protect a space station.
Hal Jordan's personality and Captain Kirk's are very similar. They are both take charge types and they both are willing to take chances.
This issue basically sets up for the next ones. So not a lot of action but more information.
Sinestro now rules the Klingon Empire. He has figured out that Oa and the Guardians of the Universe may exist in this new Universe he finds himself in. At least a version of them. It looks as if Hal may figure it out to. So the race will be on.
Having the characters of Star Trek and DC's Green Lantern's mix makes for some new and interesting moments.

Comments: The fight is on and Starfleet and the Klingons have taken sides but the main combatants are Sinestro and Hal Jordan Green Lantern. The colors really look nice. The use of colors in the words balloons gives you the idea Sinestro and Hal have power which they do.
Atrocitus is the face of rage. This alien Red Lantern is one big powerful creature of evil. The art clearly brings this fact across.
Sinestro has a goal and he is making ready to achieve it. He wants to go to this universes version of Oa. Than take over this universe.
The ending will leave you stunned. A new player has entered the game and he will change everything.

Comments: The Manhunters find out attacking the Enterprise is no easy task.
Khan Noonien Singh has a red power ring. Now this is a dangerous Red Lantern. From his face the way it is drawn though he does not appear dangerous.
Sinestro finds his destination. The players are all heading in the same direction. The action does tend to move slowly.
The combination of Green Lanterns and other Lanterns mixing with the Star Trek Universe does show these familiar characters interacting with ones you never thought they would. Hal and Kirk are a lot alike. Both leaders and men of action.
Phasers are set on stun and ready to go on full power as everyone is heading towards Oa.

Comments: We see the planet Oa. We also see Sinestro land on the planet Oa.
Khan is putting up a good fight. Well until Uhura blasts him with the Enterprises phasers. Uhura is level headed but she can be vicious.
Sinestro and Khan are the worst enemies of Hal and Kirk and you just know they are going to meet eventually. When they do will it be as allies or enemies?
The characters from these two universes do not entirely mesh well together. They do have similarities in personalities.
The characters are not the main focus but the Corps made up of Lanterns and Star Fleet made up of personal. You can tell they are from two different universes but they can work together.
