Comments: "Archie" Here we see Archie and learn somethings about his situation in life. The relationship between Ms. Grundy and Archie is more fully shown here than in the TV series. It goes way beyond just sexual. These two meant so much to each other and than in a heartbeat it was gone.
The art is ok but is so depressing.
This Archie is all serious and doom and gloom. This story is written like a dark soap opera drama.
"Betty" Betty has an internship in Los Angels. While she is there things in Riverdale change. It is all drama and no changes were for the better. It is all doom and gloom and more is to come. The art is fine and we even get a cute butt shot of Betty. Otherwise it is dark and ominous.
"Veronica" If you did not know this was Veronica and her family you would not recognize them here. Veronica the rich little girl is not so rich anymore. She has lost almost everything. More doom and gloom. The art gives Veronica a classy look.
"Jughead" Jughead's personality is so down. He appears so sad and depressed. Plus he is not eating, maybe that is why he is so sad and depressed. Well maybe not. It is strange to see him and Archie not being best friends. Again the art is so depressing.
This is a different take on the Archie characters and it is hard to even recognize them as such. All the fun part is gone and replaced by dark brooding emotions.

Comments: Jughead does have a hunger. It can cause trouble for him and others.
The art is colored lots of purple. The style is depressing, it will bring you down. It is all very dark.
Riverdale has its own version of the Ripper.
Now something strange is going on with Jughead. He is not feeling himself. He finds out that he has been up to more than he thought. Thinks are looking very dark for him.
The illustrations of the werewolves are well done giving them a wild and vicious appearance.
Jughead is not the only one who is more than you may think they are.
For a Archie story this kind of sucks but for a werewolf story it is brilliant. It builds up horror and gives you what you want. A killer who does not stop and a hunter that does not either.
The mounting terror before he strikes will have you waiting for what is to come.
