Comments: Aric is a farmer on an alien planet. He is living a life of contentment. He has a farm and a woman all he needs. War though is coming to this planet.
Aric finds himself thrust into a battle. He fights to survive. The fighting is not glorious it is down right ugly. Aric makes his way to the goal of the battle, the palace.
Why did Aric really leave Earth? This needs to be answered.
Aric is portrayed as a much calmer man in this series than previously. Aric though is a viking warrior at heart. If thrust into battle he will fight and fight to win. He calls forth his greatest weapon the X-O armor.

Comments: Aric is leading a mission to destroy a tower on Aric's new home the planet Gorin.
Aric and his team run a gauntlet of warriors to get within the tower and to the target. Their mission is a success and than the one in command wants more from Aric.
The art is rough as in it gives a rough appearance to the characters.
The characters needed more about them revealed. The more we know about them the more we would care about them.
Aric does not do a lot of fighting here. Also he only uses the power of his armor on a small scale. It has great power but Aric holds it back. Aric's nature as a warrior though does come out.

Comments: The Cadmium rule over the planet Gorin while the Azure and Burnt rebel. Aric has joined them to fight back against the Gorin.
Aric is in the city and after the President of the Cadmium along with his team of fighters.
The close ups give us some wonderfully detailed art.
Aric gets in a chase and battle over the city. This is filled with lots of fire power.
Aric we do see is a true warrior. He fits in best in a battle field during a war. His nature is to rise in the ranks and command others as he leads them to victory.

Comments: The Planet Gorin is Aric's new home and here he is a warrior. He leads his men into battle. Aric is a man of honor but in this war with two sides trying to use him who's side should he be on?
The art is rough and great for showing soldiers who fight hard in battle.
Aric is doing what he thinks is right. Being a warrior and soldier is what he knows and is good at. With his full armor he could make much more of an impact. He could win the war.
This issue is a little slow as Aric stands talking to the King of the Burnt. The King as well is an honorable man who only wants what is best for his people.
Aric is a true warrior the likes of which is rarely seen but in this comic you can see him and you should.

Comments: Aric leads an attack. He is merciless but honorable. Aric fights for the Azure against the Cadmium. He is a warrior first and foremost.
Aric is given a task from the ruler of the Azure. He is given the task of dealing with the Burnt.
The art style has a rough look that suits it for this comic and the people in it.
On this alien world Aric makes ready to battle an unknown force and the beast it releases. He will also have to battle the armies of the Azure as he changes his allegiances. Aric has just committed himself to going to war and many will die. To do this Aric takes back the greatest weapon in his universe the X-O Manowar suit of armor. He is now ready to fight and win. You can feel his determination.

Comments: Monoliths in the sky are destroying the desert lands and the Burnt people who live there.
Aric has gathered together a small group of people loyal to him. They plan to stop the attacks for the people not the governments which they know are untrustworthy. It is shown clearly that they can only count on each other. It would be nice to see more of them working together.
The art is done in a style that gives a rough look to the comic. The people that live on this world are rough and the warriors tough. At times the art could be a little more clearly presented.
Aric suits up in the X-O Manowar armor but has it designed a little differently. The Monolith is attacking even more so Aric is now ready for battle.

Comments: Aric leads the three tribes against an overwhelming foe. It is all out war on these aliens invaders lead by Aric himself an alien on this planet.
The scenes of warfare of the alien ships battling Aric's forces is something you will want to see in all its beauty. Aric using the power of Shanhara does battle a small fleet of invading ships. The outcome in his mind was never in doubt. He is a barbarian.
This barbarian could slaughter everyone on the planet if he wanted to. Instead he does fight but to bring peace to this war torn planet.
Yes Aric is a warrior one skilled in battle and with his X-O armor almost unbeatable and he could take what he wants. Instead he earns what he has.
Aric is just a man after all.

Comments: Aric is at war and he plans to become Emperor of the planet. With his drive and will power and fighting skills things seem right. He is a natural leader as well. Than add in the raw power of Shanhara and can he be stopped?
The art is done a little to dark making it at times hard to fully make out all the details.
As Aric faces the Emperor the Emperor is protected by a field that keeps out all but flesh. As you read this you think right away what an idiot the Emperor is. Aric first and foremost is a warrior he does not need his armor to fight and win.
Aric gets some advice from his former lady. It is very good advice. He may have won the war and now is Emperor of the planet but his problems have only just begun.
Aric is a man who does what he thinks is best. Next we will see if this man can apply that to a planet.

Comments: With Aric's victory and his becoming the new ruler of the planet there are also new differences. The major factions are fighting among themselves each wanting to survive.
Azure, Cadmium and Burnt all are not getting along and are killing each other.
Aric must now find a way to rule this planet and to bring peace to it. Aric is a warrior and a soldier but to rule a planet and its people you need to be so much more. Aric finds himself lacking. The way this story is written Aric is shown realizing his flaws.
The art is done to dark making it hard to fully see all the detail in the art.
Aric has become the most hated man on the planet this was not what he wanted but it is what he has. In the coming issues we will get to see just how well Aric the warrior can adjust to his new role as peace maker.
