A mysterious villain enters Sol City. Can Saturn and Orion find him before he strikes, or will Saturnís arrogance destroy everything?
SATURN AND ORION BOOK 1
Saturn is a young, technological genius who has been protecting Sol City with her adoptive father, Orion. Lately, she has been tired of simply following orders like a good sidekick. She's smarter than that and Orion knows it. As the winter solstice approaches, Saturn and Orion find themselves searching for a kidnapped woman. The police want the city's heroes to leave this criminal to them, but the clues won't allow that to happen. If Orion is right, this kidnapping is part of a mysterious sacrifice from a man they have never met. A man, who research shows, will gain unfathomable power upon his success. Now, Saturn and Orion find themselves racing against the clock to solve the mystery. Will they be successful, or will Saturn's arrogance prove more dangerous than their foe?
SATURN AND ORION BOOK ONE is written by JAY HUWER (CARRIERS: WATCHERS IN THE NIGHT, POLARIS, ZION WARS) with art by BEN FERRARI (Pilot Studios Publisher, Artist and Co-Creator of Saturn & Orion, Longhunters, Son Chasers, Carriers) with covers by LUIS RIVERA and KEVIN CHRISTENSEN. WHY SATURN AND ORION BOOK ONE?
Pilot Studios is a small press publisher based out of the San Francisco area. Saturn and Orion is the perfect example of the cutting edge books Pilot Studios releases. This makes it the perfect starting off point for readers new to Pilot Studios.
Saturn and Orion is a commentary on modern society. Saturn is a young, arrogant tech genius who has become dependent on her gadgets and gizmos. Orion, her mentor, made his fortune through genetic manipulation. Some people question whether he experimented on himself. Enter ZODIAC, the antagonist. A foe that many believe to be psychotic because he honors the ancient gods. He understands that society has forgetting the vengeful gods. When these gods are not honored, their vengeance has destroyed the world in the past.
At its heart, Saturn and Orion takes a look at the world through the lens of heroes and villains. Have we become too dependent on society's advancements? Should we take some time to remember our history and origins?

Unfortunately, there is always a little risk. Since the funding is mainly going to the printing costs of the book, there may be a slight delay due to certain uncontrollable circumstances from the printer. Pilot Studios wants to make sure your copy of the book is perfect and we refuse to send out a single issue before it meets our high standards.
Sometimes books can be damaged in transit to your house. This is another uncontrollable risk that we at Pilot Studios do our best to eliminate. In the event that your book arrives damaged, we will happily send you a brand new copy.
